My name is Paul Leger (but I am chilean!), I'm studying at the Computer Science Department of the University of Chile. Currently I'm working on my PhD Thesis promoted by Prof. Eric Tanter at Pleiad lab and Center for Advanced Research in Education (CIAE).
Although the name of my thesis (Developing Context-Aware Systems Using Expressive Trace-based Mechanisms) defines my keywords such as Context-Aware Systems and Trace-based Mechanisms, I am also interested in other topics such as Programming Languages (obviously), Aspect-Oriented Programming, and Artificial Intelligence. Lately, I tend to be quite fascinated by many issues surrounding the notion of matching of execution traces in distributed systems.
OTM: An open implementation of a trace-based mechanism, like Tracematches, for JavaScript.
AspectScript: an aspect-oriented extension of JavaScript for expressive AOP; integrates several state-of-the-art features related to higher-order programming and expressive scoping of aspects.
I have been Professor, Teaching Assistant, and co-supervisor in the following items:
Before, I worked on weather forecast at Ceaza Lab.
